Archaeologists Uncover a One-of-a-Kind Greek Racecourse in Ancient Libya

The French Archaeological Mission in Libya has unearthed a rare Greek hippodrome, along with a previously unknown seaside theater, at the ancient port city of Apollonia. Experts say the racecourse has no known equivalent anywhere else in Cyrenaica or the wider Mediterranean.
