US Orders Iran's Airlines Shut Down Worldwide as Iraq Halts Flights

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced that Iranian airlines will be shut down around the world starting September 23, warning that any airport providing fuel, landing services, or tickets to them will be cut off from the dollar system. Iraq moved a day early to suspend Iranian flights into Baghdad, and Georgia and Turkey also restricted Iranian carriers.
