David Ellison's Paramount completed its $81 billion takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery on October 6, creating a Hollywood giant renamed Skydance and valued at roughly $111 billion including debt. HBO Max, CNN, CBS, Paramount+ and franchises from Harry Potter to The Godfather now sit under one roof.
