Why Spanish needs a live tutor, not another app
Ser and estar: two verbs for 'to be'
English has one 'to be'; Spanish has two, and picking the wrong one changes the meaning. 'Estoy aburrido' means you are bored right now; 'soy aburrido' says you are a boring person. You cannot learn this from a table. You learn it by saying it, being corrected, and saying it again.
Gendered nouns and agreement
Every noun is masculine or feminine, and adjectives and articles must agree: 'la casa blanca', 'el coche blanco'. Readers get this right with time to think; speakers get it wrong under pressure, which is why it only becomes automatic through spoken repetition.
