Trump Says Iran Talks Resume Monday After Canceling Planned Strikes, Points to Hormuz Deal

President Trump said negotiations with Iran will resume Monday afternoon after he again called off a planned US attack, expressing confidence that a deal to fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz has already been reached and that an agreement ending Iran's nuclear threat will follow. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said separate talks between Iran and Oman over managing shipping through the strait were in their final stages.
