Twilio shares surged as much as 28 percent after the messaging and voice technology company beat second quarter expectations, reporting adjusted earnings of 1.47 dollars per share on 1.5 billion dollars in revenue, both above Wall Street forecasts. The company also raised its full year growth guidance, crediting fast adoption of a new voice based artificial intelligence product.
