Google DeepMind Launches an AI Map of Every Possible Human DNA Change

Google DeepMind has launched the AlphaGenome Atlas, a free, AI powered database that scores the predicted effect of all 9 billion possible single letter changes in human DNA. Built by combining the AlphaGenome and AlphaMissense models, the more than 1 petabyte tool replaces work that once took labs many lifetimes to complete. Researchers hope it will speed up the search for the genetic causes of disease.
