The United States sharply escalated its air campaign against Iran overnight into Wednesday, striking an Iranian army barracks in a rare daylight attack that Iranian officials say killed at least 7 troops and wounded more than 260 people nationwide. The strike followed Tuesday's reimposed US naval blockade of Iranian ports, backed by more than 20 warships. Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps responded by threatening to halt all oil and gas exports from the entire Middle East region, while President Trump told Fox News that more strikes are coming and that Iranian bridges and power plants could be targeted next week unless talks resume.
