Apple's New Siri, Powered by Google's AI, Opens to the Public

Apple has launched an English-language public beta of a completely rebuilt Siri as part of iOS 27, powered by Google's Gemini artificial intelligence models under a deal reportedly worth about $1 billion. The new Siri can hold much longer conversations, supporting more than 20 back-and-forth turns, and is rolling out across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, CarPlay, AirPods, Apple TV, and Vision Pro.
