For employers and training teams
Know a candidate's English before the interview, and measure what training changed.
Send a link, the candidate tests from home with the camera on, and you get a CEFR level for reading, listening, writing and speaking within 24 hours.
Use cases
Where employers use it
Pre-hire screening
Check the English a role needs before you spend an interview on it. Speaking is scored, not self-reported.
Customer-facing roles
See listening and speaking separately from reading and writing, which matters for support, sales and hospitality.
Training before and after
Test a group before an English program and again after it, and report the change per skill.
Internal mobility
Give employees moving to an international role a result they can share and you can verify.
How it runs

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Which level should a role require?
Many employers ask for B1 for roles with routine English and B2 for roles where people discuss, negotiate or write in English every day. Senior or client-facing roles in English often ask for C1. Because you get a level per skill, you can set a higher bar for speaking than for writing, or the other way round.
How do we know the candidate took the test themselves?
The camera is on throughout, an ID photo is taken next to the candidate's face at the start, snapshots are compared with it, and speaking is checked for a second voice and for reading aloud. Flagged tests are reviewed by a person.
Can a candidate share an existing result with us?
Yes. Every certificate has a number you can check on our verification page, with the levels and the test date.
Is it suitable for visa or immigration purposes?
No. It is a CEFR-aligned certificate for hiring and training decisions. Visa and immigration processes name their own accepted tests.
