قال لي: «سآتي غدًا.» ← قال لي إنه سيأتي في اليوم التالي.
She asked, "Where are you going?" → She asked where I was going.
سألت: «إلى أين أنت ذاهب؟» ← سألت إلى أين كنت ذاهبًا.
They said, "We have finished." → They said they had finished.
قالوا: «لقد انتهينا.» ← قالوا إنهم كانوا قد انتهوا.
He said, "I like pizza." → He said he liked pizza.
قال: «أحب البيتزا.» ← قال إنه يحب البيتزا.
She told him, "Don't be late." → She told him not to be late.
قالت له: «لا تتأخر.» ← قالت له ألّا يتأخر.
They asked, "Can you help us?" → They asked if I could help them.
سألوا: «هل يمكنك مساعدتنا؟» ← سألوا إن كان بإمكاني مساعدتهم.
He said, "I was sleeping." → He said he had been sleeping.
قال: «كنت نائمًا.» ← قال إنه كان قد نام / كان نائمًا.
She asked, "What did you do?" → She asked what I had done.
سألت: «ماذا فعلت؟» ← سألت عمّا كنت قد فعلته.
They said, "We will never do this." → They said they would never do that.
قالوا: «لن نفعل هذا أبدًا.» ← قالوا إنهم لن يفعلوا ذلك أبدًا.
He told her, "You look beautiful." → He told her she looked beautiful.
قال لها: «تبدين جميلة.» ← قال لها إنها تبدو جميلة.
She said, "I have already eaten." → She said she had already eaten.
قالت: «لقد أكلت بالفعل.» ← قالت إنها كانت قد أكلت بالفعل.
They asked, "Are you coming tonight?" → They asked if I was coming that night.
سألوا: «هل ستأتي الليلة؟» ← سألوا إن كنت سآتي تلك الليلة.
He said, "I can speak three languages." → He said he could speak three languages.
قال: «أستطيع التحدث بثلاث لغات.» ← قال إنه يستطيع التحدث بثلاث لغات.
She asked, "Do you remember me?" → She asked if I remembered her.
سألت: «هل تتذكرني؟» ← سألت إن كنت أتذكرها.
They said, "We might come tomorrow." → They said they might come the next day.
قالوا: «ربما نأتي غدًا.» ← قالوا إنهم ربما يأتون في اليوم التالي.
He told me, "Call me later." → He told me to call him later.
قال لي: «اتصل بي لاحقًا.» ← طلب مني أن أتصل به لاحقًا.
She said, "This tastes good." → She said it tasted good.
قالت: «طعم هذا لذيذ.» ← قالت إن طعمه كان لذيذًا.
They asked, "How much does it cost?" → They asked how much it cost.
سألوا: «كم ثمنه؟» ← سألوا عن ثمنه.

قال: «لم أره مؤخرًا.» ← قال إنه لم يكن قد رآه مؤخرًا.
She asked, "Why didn't you come yesterday?" → She asked why I hadn't come the previous day.
سألت: «لماذا لم تأتِ أمس؟» ← سألت لماذا لم آتِ في اليوم السابق.
They said, "We must go now." → They said they had to go.
قالوا: «يجب أن نذهب الآن.» ← قالوا إنه كان عليهم أن يذهبوا.
He told her, "I love you." → He told her he loved her.
قال لها: «أحبك.» ← قال لها إنه يحبها.
She asked, "When will you arrive?" → She asked when I would arrive.
سألت: «متى ستصل؟» ← سألت متى سأصل.
They said, "We should probably leave soon." → They said they should probably leave soon.
قالوا: «ربما ينبغي أن نغادر قريبًا.» ← قالوا إنه ربما ينبغي أن يغادروا قريبًا.

قال لها: «لا تقلقي عليّ.» ← قال لها ألّا تقلق عليه.

سألت: «هل ستكون هناك غدًا؟» ← سألت إن كنت سأكون هناك في اليوم التالي.

قالوا: «إنه غالٍ جدًا.» ← قالوا إنه كان غاليًا جدًا.

قال: «سأسافر الشهر القادم.» ← قال إنه سيسافر في الشهر التالي.

سألت: «كيف تشعر؟» ← سألت كيف كنت أشعر.
